Natural Teeth Cleaning

Do you find yourself always looking for ways to save money on the chores that most people take for granted such as brushing their teeth, keeping their mouths clean and using mouthwash? There are a host of simple, cheap and natural ways to make your mouth cleaner, which involve little more than what you already do every day. For example, you can use coconut oil to fight against the germs that cause mouth soreness and bacterial infections like gingivitis.

One of the simplest ways to save money is to ensure that you never buy artificial sweeteners because they are not natural teeth cleaning agents. If you really want to be on the safe side, opt for natural sugar alternatives like stevia, as it is far gentler on your mouth than regular sugar. When you chew gum, make sure you choose one that does not contain artificial sweeteners, breath fresheners, alcohol, or other chemicals. Breath fresheners often leave residues in your mouth, making it a less than ideal way to keep your mouth clean.

If you want natural teeth cleaning agents, consider chewing on raw bones instead of those sugary tinned ones. Raw bones have long been recommended for their natural antibacterial properties, but you can also add a little salt, pepper or lemon juice to the mix. Chew on your raw bones for a few minutes before you go to bed. The salt will help scrape away plaque while the lemon juice helps to clean out the enamel.

If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to toothpaste and to save yourself a lot of money, you can buy natural teeth cleaning toothpastes and brushes. While it is important to brush your teeth regularly, if you don’t have time to brush your teeth then you should consider buying a toothbrush with a built in mouthwash. These can be purchased at your local pharmacy or supermarket and are easy to use. They will save you money because they won’t be as likely to wear out as traditional toothbrushes and toothpastes and will save you money on your dental bills.

If you really want natural teeth cleaning agents, consider giving your pet’s meat dog treats. Like people, dogs need certain foods to stay healthy and happy. If you give them raw meat dog treats once or twice a week, they will get lots of vitamins from the raw meat and will not feel the effects of the toxins in commercial pet food. They will also benefit from the natural flavors of the treats.

Another one of the best ways to keep your mouth clean and smelling fresh is to simply stop smoking. Smoking deodorizes the air around your mouth, and your breath. If you smoke regularly, then the tar builds up in your mouth which discolors your teeth and mouth. Try to quit smoking immediately. If you don’t, then add two fingers to every puff you take, just to make sure your mouth doesn’t smell like a smoker. There are many other ways to avoid smoking that I’ll tell you about in another article.

I know this might sound strange, but if you take a look in the mirror after brushing your teeth, you’ll notice a big difference in your breath! If you can see it, then you must brush more. I know it doesn’t seem logical, but when you brush more, your dog will thank you for it. This will help you keep your oral hygiene in perfect condition. Your dog will enjoy longer and healthier teeth, and if you brush twice a day, you’ll both have something to brag about.

One last way you can keep your mouth and teeth cleaning at home is by incorporating green tea into your diet. Green tea has natural antioxidants that fight off the bad bacteria that causes cavities. Many companies have created natural supplements of this powerful antioxidant, and they’re sold at almost any health food store. If you add a teaspoonful of these supplements to your daily diet, you can dramatically reduce the amount of plaque in your dog develops.
